The third stage of Limerence is Deterioration; Limerence decays after a period of time, you start to lose the urge. The “halo effect” is tarnished, and you begin to see the flaws. Her back is turned and begins being consumed by the shadows. Limerence Fading: Captures a moment between times, Moving from a stage of deep infatuation or obsession with another person that involves an all-consuming passion and intrusive thoughts. Seemingly, cursed by a lover that has cast a spell on our heart to a stage of utter Deterioration.
